Walker Road & Kohler Road Traffic Signal Update

The Walker Road & Kohler Road traffic signal project is nearly complete.

Sometime in July, the new traffic signals will be placed in flashing mode for testing. The exact date has not yet been determined.

Motorists are reminded to use caution and pay close attention to all lane designation signs, traffic signal indications, and pavement markings while traveling through the intersection.

Please note that left turns from eastbound Walker Road onto Kohler Road (traveling from the Borough of Chambersburg toward Interstate 81) are prohibited. Signage will be installed to notify motorists of this traffic pattern.

Greene Township and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation thank the public for their patience and cooperation throughout the construction of this important safety improvement.
