Notice of a public hearing is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (Act 247 and 170 as amended) and the Greene Township Code (as amended). The purpose of said public hearing is for the Greene Township Zoning Hearing Board to hear a request submitted by Paradise Energy Solutions, LLC, 3105 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise PA 17562 for property located at 4961 Cumberland Highway, Chambersburg PA, 17202. Subject property is owned by Sand Dollar Properties, LLC (David H. Martin Excavating, Inc.), 4961 Cumberland Highway, Chambersburg PA, 17202 and is shown as Franklin Co. Tax Parcels 09-0C08.-162.-000000 & 09-0C08.-100.-000000. These parcels are located in the R-2 (Medium Density Residential) Zoning District. The current use of the property is a nonconforming use. Applicant requests approval to alter the nonconforming use by placement of roof mounted solar arrays on the rooftops of two existing shop buildings to offset electrical usage on the site. Request is in reference to Greene Township Code 105-46.D(1) Nonconforming uses and structures. The public hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 in the Greene Township Building Meeting Room, 1145 Garver Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Hearing is open to the public.
