Notice of a public hearing is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (Act 247 and 170 as amended) and the Greene Township Code (as amended). The purpose of the hearing is for the Greene Township Zoning Hearing Board to hear a request submitted by KMT Partners Acquisition LLC, 1776 Peachtree St. NW, Suite 720S, Atlanta, GA 30309 as equitable owner for property currently listed by the Franklin Co. Tax Office to Frank and Mark Flohr, 1350 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg, PA 17202. The subject property is addressed 4507 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, and is shown as Franklin Co. Tax Map UPI 09-0C08.-004.-000000. A Land Development Plan proposing construction of a Distribution and / or Logistic Center on the property is currently under review. Applicant is requesting a variance in the number of required employee parking stalls. Required are 988 stalls. Requested is a variance resulting in 416 employee parking stalls. Applicant further proposes that those areas previously designated as employee parking be re-striped to increase truck trailer parking to 394 spaces. Request is in regard to Greene Township Code 105-29.B, Parking regulations for industrial facilities. Required is a minimum of 1 parking space for each 1,000 square feet of building floor area or 1 space for each employee on average working shift, whichever is greater. The public hearing on this request will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 in the Greene Township Building Meeting Room, 1145 Garver Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17202 and is open to the public.
