The purpose of the public hearing is for the Greene Township Board of Supervisors to receive evidence and testimony regarding a request for a Conditional Use Permit submitted by Metropolitan 4 LLC\, 2001 State Hill Road\, Suite 205\, Wyomissing\, PA 19610\, as equitable owner\, for property currently listed by the Franklin County Tax Office to Virginia E. Loiacona\, c/o Helen Means of 725 River Road\, Sykesville\, MD 21784 (the “Application”). This property is shown as Franklin County Tax UPI 09-0C22.-007.-000000 and is located along the west side of Ragged Edge Road between Summer Breeze Lane and Meadow Lane (the “Property”). The Property is in the R-1 (Low Density Residential) Zoning District. Current use of the Property is agriculture. The Application proposes development of the 70 acre Property consisting of 676 multifamily dwelling units (33 apartment buildings). Multiple dwelling residences are listed as a Conditional Use in the R-1 Zoning District. This request is in reference to Greene Township Code 105-7.B(9) (a through h) and Greene Township Code 105-60 Conditional Use regulations. Following the conclusion of the public hearing\, the Board of Supervisors will receive public comment regarding the Application. This hearing is open to the public.
